Emeka-Njoku

Our Moderator Emeka Njoku is a Senior Supply Chain and Operations Leader with a remarkable 17-year career characterized by his unwavering commitment to driving excellence and innovation in large-scale multinational environments. He has demonstrated expertise in enhancing efficiency through strategic planning, automation, and sustainable practices.

Emeka has been instrumental in championing sustainability initiatives, driving the implementation of advanced technologies such as conveyors and robotics, and mentoring emerging talent through several volunteer organizations to ensure a strategic pipeline for the future.

With a solid foundation in Industrial Engineering, backed by a Master’s in International Business and an array of certifications including Lean Six Sigma Green and Black Belt, Emeka is poised to continue making impactful contributions to the field of supply chain management.

Gianmichele-Alivia

With a career spanning over two decades, Gianmichele Alivia is an international, bilingual executive renowned for reshaping supply chains while driving service improvements and cost savings.

Demonstrating adept leadership and organizational skills, he has held key roles in large international corporations, most recently as Vice President of Distribution at EssilorLuxottica and Vice President of Supply Chain at Prysmian Group.

His expertise covers almost all areas of Logistics and Supply Chain, from production planning and scheduling to network planning and design, carrier management, and contract negotiations, as well as running distribution centers and international transportation.

Gianmichele holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Systems & Software Engineering from the University of Greenwich, UK. He is proficient in both Italian and English and has lived in four different countries, which has given him a comprehensive skill set for navigating challenges in diverse, multinational settings.

Rick DeFiesta is the Executive Vice President Of Sales and Solutions at Geekplus.  He heads the company’s expansion in North, Central and South America including strategy, sales, and customer relations. ​

Rick previously managed sales and operations in some of the largest material handling companies in North America as well as implementing large automated systems on the customer side.​

Rick has assisted hundreds of customers with his decades of experience in distribution, order fulfillment, manufacturing and assembly by implementing the latest technologies in complex integrated solutions.

Zach Isbell spent 20 years leading large scale fulfillment centers in Retail and 3PL verticals as well as 5 years in robotics solutioning and sales.

As a former buyer and current seller of automation solutions, he understands the 360 degree benefits and risks of your automation journey.
