A CSCMP Atlanta Roundtable event, hosted in partnership with Prologis
Most conversations about warehouse automation start in the wrong place — with the robot. This session flips that order.
Before any equipment gets selected, a facility has to answer a harder set of questions: Can the floor and power infrastructure actually support it? Will fire protection and permitting timelines cooperate? Is the process stable enough to automate in the first place? These are the constraints that quietly derail automation initiatives — not because the technology fails, but because the building was never evaluated against it.
Join the Atlanta Roundtable for an evening with Parth Pethani, Director at Prologis, who brings a rare vantage point to this conversation. Having sold robotics, implemented WMS platforms, operated automation on the floor, and now advised customers from the landlord’s side of the table, Parth has seen firsthand where automation plans succeed — and where they quietly stall.
